WW2 Day
Today, P4 and P5 pupils took part in a World War 2 themed day, supported by a special visit from Untold, a new museum opening in 2027. Untold is a peace and reconciliation project exploring shared history and lived experiences on the island of Ireland. During the visit, pupils had the opportunity to see and discuss real historical artefacts, helping to bring their classroom learning to lite.
A key highlight was a historic football from the Battle of Loos, which was kicked into no man's land by Frank Edwards of the London Irish Rifles.
In the afternoon, they enjoyed a street party in the hall, complete with music from the wartime era, bringing the spirit of the 1940s to lite.
