Primary Six is always a very busy year but there's always still time to fit in fun and adventure! Hopefully this page will give you an insight into some of our learning this year!

In Term One, we will be learning about the Titanic through our World Around Us topic. We will also be working on our place value knowledge, practising our addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills and developing our knowledge of shapes. We will also be working on problem solving skills within Maths lessons. Within Literacy, we will be developing our Recount and Procedural writing skills. We will be developing our Gaelic and Football skills in PE. We will also be developing our ICT publishing skills.

In Term Two, our topic will be the Vikings. We will continue to develop our number knowledge in our Maths lessons and will explore fractions, decimals and percentages. We will further develop our writing skills by exploring Report writing and develop our creative writing during our Narrative writing topic. In PE, we will explore our Basketball and Gymnastics skills. In Term Two, our ICT focus will be on developing Digital Audio skills, where we will work on creating our own musical compositions using the GarageBand app.
