St.Patricks GAA team annexed the Div 3 Cumann na nBunscoil Championship at St.Pauls GAC on Wednesday 15th In a very competitive game Bunscoil Sliebh Duadth opening the scoring with a goal. It took the St.Pats team a while to settle into the fame. But eventually some great attacking moves resulted in z hat trick of goals from the exsiquite left foot of Toby D. BSD replied with a good point & Dexter replied with a fine score of his left side as well. The conditions were tricky due to the earlier heavy rain and the usual fluidity wasn't happening. A super kick out from Peter F found Cian L who kicked long into Thomas M, who cooly slotted to the net. BSD finished the half with a nicely worked point HT St .Patricks 4 - 1 BSD 1-3 After a great half time analysis, the St.Pats boys were keen to get the job done. They opened the scoring with a Thomas M point and then the mercurial Barney G scored a thumping goal. BSD replied with a superb goal to open the game up. Mr O' Neill ran the bench to get everyone inbolved. Steady work by Callan & Oisin tightened the defensive cover and St.Patricks scored 3 further points to run out winners on a scoreline of 5- 3 to 2-4.
Man of the match - Thomas Murphy So a second Championship for the boys in two years, is a fantastic achievement. There was great celebrations to conclude a great year for the GAA team
