A few children from our school orchestra and choir attended the Studio Symphony Orchestra concert on Saturday 16th May in Bangor. They enjoyed a variety of song and dance music including Ravel's 'Bolero', Offenbach's 'Can-Can' and 'Glitter and Be Gay' by Bernstein.
They enjoyed hearing the range of instruments and different musical styles. They were amazed at the performance of the soprano, Rebecca Murphy, and some even got the autographs of Rebecca and the conductor, Paul McCusker. What an inspiring evening for our young musicians. Let's hope they attend many similar events in the years to come!
