Congratulations to our school traditional group who competed at Holywood Music Festival on Tuesday 11th November. We performed 'Dawning of the Day' and 'Star of the County Down'. The adjudicator, Donal O'Connor, awarded us 1st place, resulting us winning the Traditional Music Cup. We also got the highest mark in classes D8-D11 so won the Fox-Roberts Cup and a cheque for the school too!
Well done to everyone involved, including our inspiring teacher, Mr. Niall McClean. A big thanks too to all our supporters who came along to see and hear us on Tuesday morning! Photos of the group, trophies and mark sheet are below.
