The boys headed off to the Skydome on Blacks Road to participate in the Indoor GAA 5- a sides on Thursday 22nd.
Their opening game was against St.Ita's. It was a very tight game with Toby scoring the winning point with the last kick of the game. FT Score - St.Patricks 2-2 St.Itas 2-1.
St.Itas played Bunscoil an tSléibheDhuibh in the next game, which the BUnscoil won after a good even game of football.
This set up a winners takes all game between St.Patricks & the Bunscoil. St.Patricks played some very composed football, with excellent passing and taking their points when they needed. The Bunscoil GK was fantastic. Solid defensive work from Matthew(GK), Conor and Cian tied up the Bunscoil's forwards and some slick passing lead to two goals (Toby and Dexter) to bring the final score to St Patricks 2-6 Bunscoil SD 1-2.
The boys are now through to the next round of the indoor championship. Dates TBC
