P4 and P5 celebrated VE Day in true wartime style with a tea party in the hall. The children enjoyed stepping back in time as they marked this important moment in history, sharing stories, songs and smiles together.
While we skipped the wartime mock bananas, we made a very popular upgrade to strawberry and cheese treats instead! It was a lovely opportunity to learn about life during the war, reflect on the significance of VE Day, and celebrate peace and togetherness in a fun, memorable way.
