W/b 5th February .....a busy week ahead in school!

Dear Parents,

Please note that school closes  for P1-3 children @1:45  and for P4-7 children @2pm for the whole week to facilitate Parent Teacher Meetings. Parents should access the school building via the main reception doors and exit via these doors or the canopy doors only.

Fitness Freddy Charity Fund raising day - Wednesday 7th - For all classes. We are fundraising for two very  worthwhile charities - Tinylife and Help is at Hand. As a staff, we have undertaken the Tinylife Premaware birth  programme so that we have a better understanding of prematurity  and its impact on children. As part of the training, we have undertaken to support the charity with an event. Help is at Hand is a small local charity that is  very supportive and  facilities families that are caught in the cost of living crisis. The charity makes significant donations of toys to families in need at Christmas and other essential items throughout the year.  
A contribution of £5 per family would be appreciated for sponsorship of this event. ALL pupils should wear their PE uniform on Wednesday.


GAA Thursdays - ALL P1 - P4 will be involved in the GAA FUNdamentals training on Thursdays. The programme focuses on Developing gross and fine motor skills, team games and team play The programme will run from 8th February to 27th June. A contribution of £5 per child  for the programme would be greatly appreciated. St.Pauls GAA are subsiding the reminder of the cost as part of Down GAA Coaching Provision. We really appreciate the continued support of the St.Paul's club in promoting GAA Games within the school. This will be collected in March. An updated PE timetable will be forwarded asap.
