P4 & P5 Blast Off on a Space Adventure at the Armagh Planetarium!
Our Primary 4 and Primary 5 pupils recently enjoyed an unforgettable trip to the Armagh Planetarium, where they embarked on an exciting adventure through space!
Inside the immersive dome theatre, the children journeyed around the solar system, travelling past planets, moons and distant stars as they discovered fascinating facts about our universe. The spectacular visuals and sounds made everyone feel like real astronauts exploring space.
Afterwards, pupils had the opportunity to explore the interactive exhibition area, learning even more about space travel, astronauts and the wonders of the night sky. There was plenty of hands-on discovery, sparking curiosity and lots of thoughtful questions.
One of the highlights of the day was working in teams to design, build and blast off their very own rockets. The excitement was out of this world as they watched their creations launch skyward! It was a fantastic day filled with learning, teamwork and fun — an experience our P4 and P5 pupils will remember for a long time.
