P6 were so lucky to receive a visit from Mr Perrin (Maeve's dad) who is a civil engineer and had offered to come in and share some information about his job. This linked brilliantly with our Bridges topic. P6 had a go at building their own bridges using Knex and then Mr Perrin and his colleague, Tom, offered advice on how best to build a bridge from spaghetti and marshmallows. Of course this was the ideal, a bridge that you can build and then eat!!
