Last week we had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day across the school from P1 to P7. Pupils enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters and taking part in a wide range of fun and engaging book-related activities in their classrooms.
We were also delighted to welcome visitors from Form 6 at Sullivan Upper School, who joined our P2/3 and P3 classes to read stories and take part in “book blanket” sessions. It was a lovely opportunity for pupils to share their love of reading together.
Our literacy display outside the Assembly Hall now showcases some of the fantastic work and photographs from the day, celebrating the creativity, enthusiasm, and enjoyment of reading across the whole school.
