Our P4/5 pupils enjoyed a cosy and delicious learning experience as they sampled hot chocolate in preparation for their independent procedural writing task, How to Make Hot Chocolate. Using their senses to observe, taste and sequence each step, the children explored how clear instructions are created. This engaging activity helped bring procedural writing to life, supporting pupils to plan, organise and write their own step-by-step instructions with confidence (and a smile!)
