Due to a combination of the impact of Covid and the Teacher Union's Action Short of Strike, the school's three year development plan has been delayed and an Interim one year plan has been developed. This development plan is the result of measures being implemented by the Education Authority to ensure all schools have the relevant expertise in managing school planning. The BOG have agreed to go with this requirement for 2024 -25 school year. The interim plan focuses on key aspects and core subjects of the primary curriculum.

For 2025-28, the following aspects of the NI Curriculum and ethos will be further enhanced and developed:-

• Developing a three-year school improvement plan 2025 – 2028.
• Maintaining a culture of reading, reviewing spellings and handwriting processes.
• Using GL data & school generated data to support improvement.
• Introduce a Preventative education programme around Being Well- Doing Well
• Developing a Teaching & Learning Policy & reviewing core policies.

 2025-2028 School Development Plan will be shared in due course with all stakeholders.
